What an incredible week at the Arizona State FFA State Leadership Conference 2026! ππ
We were proud to have more than 22 members represent our chapter by competing at the state level. Our chapter was recognized as a Silver National Chapter. We had 6 members that received their State Degree. This week our members had the opportunity to participate in workshops, network with businesses and AZ chapters!!

This week agriculture 1 students have had the opportunity to learn from some guest teachers.
MiaBella Sipone taught a lesson on animal handling and welfare. Students made their own rope halters as apart of her lessons. MiaBellas lesson will be scored by Arizona FFA and the University of Arizona Ag Ed Dept in June for the Agriculture Education Leadership Development Event. MiaBella qualified for the state ag ed contest by placing 1st in the South Central Region.
Isabella Diaz and Emma Shaffer completed a lesson on Floriculture in the United States and students competed in their own version of the flower fight, creating holiday themed floral arrangements.
Riley McKinney completed a lesson on plant cells. Students were able to observe plant cell organelles under a microscope.
Riley, Emma and Isabella completed their lessons as apart of a large ag education project for agriculture 3!
