Coolidge Dance has a big year planned including: 3 shows, lots of local performances, trips to colleges to explore Fine Arts in a university setting and a variety of different competitions and festivals. Our goal is to give our dancers an unmatched and well rounded dance education that goes beyond the classroom! Please help us continue to strive and elevate our program with our first fundraiser of the year. Our dancers will feel the impact most directly with new costumes, master classes with guest choreographers and new opportunities to compete and showcase their skills across the state!

Thank you to Florence Cooper for continuing to support our dance program and offer continuing education for our dancers! Attending college intensives is an unmatched opportunity!

The Florence Copper Community Foundation contributed a $2,400 grant to support Coolidge High School’s dance program.

The grant award gave five students the opportunity to attend a week-long intensive at Grand Canyon University, where they trained in a collegiate environment, connected with university faculty, and gained exposure to future educational and career pathways in the arts.

Our dancers just finished up a busy week at their college dance intensive at GCU! They presented 2 pieces today, a small sneak peak into everything they learned this week! We are so proud of their dedication to trying new styles of dance, pushing themselves athletically and artistically, and look forward to seeing the impact in our classroom this year and on the stage!✨

Also a big congrats to seniors, Azucena and Caleb for getting accepted into the GCU dance program!
