Elementary students can earn coins, BEAR Bucks, brag bracelets and cards by demonstrating kindness, respect, hard work, following directions, helping others, showing improvement, positive choices and being a good role model!
Students will shop at the BEAR’S DEN monthly and be put into a drawing quarterly for a prize.
Great job to these kindergartners who have received a card home, brag bracelets, bucks and cards!

What is a Pre-K “Super Friend”? 🌟

You may notice a picture of a child wearing our Super Friend Cape and receiving a Super Friend Certificate to take home. We wanted to share what this special recognition means!

Our Super Friend Cape is a way for us to celebrate children when we see them using their social-emotional and friendship skills throughout the day. There are many reasons a friend may earn a chance to wear the Super Friend Cape, such as:

*Helping clean up
*Helping a friend or teacher
*Sharing and taking turns
*Using kind words and actions
*Using conflict-resolution skills
*Being a helpful and caring friend
*Showing great self-regulation and social-emotional skills

There are so many opportunities throughout our day for our preschool friends to be Super Friends!

🦸‍♂️ Today’s Super Friend is BRADY! 🦸‍♂️

Brady worked so hard today to show what being a Super Friend is all about!

He helped open his friends’ milk at mealtime, shared toys during work time, worked hard to help clean up, and when he and a friend had a little problem with sharing toys, Brady used wonderful conflict-resolution skills to work through the problem!

We are so proud of you, Brady! You were a wonderful Super Friend today! Keep up the hard work, Brady!

We can’t wait to see who our next Super Friend will be! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

🧠✨ Thinking Outside the Box with Title VI! ✨🧠

Today, Title VI Indian Education Coordinator Rachel Barnhizer brought something a little different to our 6th–12th grade students, a fun and interactive way to learn outside the box!

🎩 Sticky Brain – The Game Changer

Grant is a magician and mentalist who specializes in the art of reading human behavior. Through an interactive student program, he used magic and mentalism to teach students about the secrets behind learning, studying, and remembering information for the long term.
Instead of just sitting in a classroom listening, students got to see, experience, and participate while learning practical strategies they can use in school and beyond. The goal was to help students walk into their next quiz, exam, final, or standardized test feeling more prepared, equipped, and confident in what they know.
Learning doesn't always have to happen the traditional way! Sometimes thinking outside the box is exactly what helps something stick.

A big thank you to Grant for bringing an exciting and memorable learning experience to our students! And thank you to our Title VI Indian Education Program for continuing to find new and creative opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and succeed.

Kindergarten Science today! Ask your kinder how exciting this was!

Make a "rain cloud in a jar" science experiment by filling a clear glass with water, topping it with a fluffy layer of shaving cream, and using a dropper to add blue-colored water on top until it rains through. This hands-on kindergarten activity demonstrates how clouds hold water until they become too heavy and release precipitation.
