Our first graders had a front-row seat to the wonder of God’s creation! 🐛🦋

A student’s grandmother sent a caterpillar to class, giving the students the opportunity to observe it as it ate milkweed, stored energy, and formed a chrysalis. Twelve days later, a beautiful monarch butterfly emerged!

What a special opportunity to watch the process of God’s creation unfold right before their eyes. We love finding opportunities for our students to discover the beauty, order, and wonder of creation in the classroom!

Sixth grade recently wrapped up their study of Ephesians with a thoughtful Socratic discussion. After learning and practicing inductive skills for reading Scripture, students put those skills into action as they discussed the text, asked questions, listened carefully, and worked together to deepen their understanding of God’s Word. We love seeing our students learn not only what Scripture says, but also how to carefully and thoughtfully engage with it.

Thank you to the 2027 Leadership Putnam Class for making HRA a part of your Education Day!

We always enjoy welcoming community leaders to our campus and giving them a glimpse into the education and experiences shaping our students. We’re especially grateful for the opportunity to introduce them to the future leaders of our community and beyond, our students! 🦁

Additional thank you to for providing cookies and lemonade for our guests!
