As most of my friends know, I’ve been teaching Jiu-jitsu for about 16 years now. I run a school in Cookeville. Thanks to new construction near my school. My rent has gone up considerably. I’ve also recently lost several students due to work complications, moving, etc.

If any of you know anyone who might be interested in adult classes or kids classes, please reach out. Kids classes are for ages seven and up. Adult classes are 13 and up. But don’t think you are too old to train. I have students that are pushing 60 years old.

Pretty sure I have the best rates of any Jiu-jitsu Academy in Cookeville. I don’t do contracts, I do monthly payments so there’s no fear of getting locked into something you can’t get out of.

I will also work with parents if they would like to use my school as PE for their homeschooled kids. I offer a family discount for multiple family members.

Social media makes it easy to think you need another technique.

Another guard.
Another submission.

But jiu-jitsu isn’t about collecting moves.

It’s about understanding the principles that make those moves work.

When you understand posture, balance, leverage, timing, and pressure, you stop memorizing techniques and start solving problems.

The techniques will change.

The principles won’t.
