Jere Whitson Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Brittany Olson! 🌟🐾

This week, we are thrilled to feature one of our incredible ESL teachers, Mrs. Brittany Olson! When asked what she wants Jere Whitson families to know, Mrs. Brittany shared: "I want families to know that I truly care about their children and want every student to feel loved, valued, supported, and capable of reaching their full potential."

🌟 A Big Thank You! 🌟

We are so grateful to the Funderburk Family McDonald’s for generously sponsoring six Student of the Month meals each month for our Wildcats! 💙🤍

Each month, one student from each grade level will be recognized for outstanding character, and because of their generosity, those six students will also get to enjoy a special meal with the principal’s as part of their celebration.

We love when the community comes together to support and encourage our students. Thank you, Funderburk Family for helping us make our Wildcats in the Spotlight feel extra special!

Putnam County Schools is celebrating "Dolly Day" on Friday, Aug. 28, in honor of the legendary Dolly Parton! 💖

Dolly has always taught us that a little bit of love and generosity can change the world. In her honor, everyone across the PCSS system—students, teachers, and staff—is encouraged to spread kindness, lend a helping hand, and lift each other up.

Whether you're wearing pink, your favorite western wear, rocking some sparkle, or simply sharing a smile and a kind word in the hallway, let's make the entire district glow with positivity! 🎸📚

How to participate:

Express Kindness: Compliment a classmate, thank a teacher, or do a random act of kindness.

Dress up: Throw on something pink, some boots, denim, or sparkles to celebrate Dolly's iconic style!
