Now we'll slowly introduce all of our class offerings! This afternoon we're sharing the details for our INTERMEDIATE ADULT BALLET TECHNIQUE AND PERFORMANCE

"This class is designed for adults who have danced in the past and wish to be reintroduced to ballet with other adult students. Individuals who do not wish to perform may take the technique class. Those individuals who would like to perform must enroll in the foundational technique class to be able to register for the co-requisite Performance class."

"Technique classes are designed to enhance student growth and development by: familiarizing students with the movement vocabulary of the selected dance form; increasing flexibility, muscular control, coordination, strength, and stamina; focusing on proper body alignment; emphasizing rhythmic accuracy; and providing an awareness of the elements of dance - the body, space, force, and time. Ballet II is designed for students in middle school with some previous ballet training. Ballet III/IV is designed for students in high school with some previous ballet training.."

"BALLET IA – This course is designed for students beginning Ballet technique for the first time. Students are generally in the 2nd to 4th grade.

BALLET IB – This course is designed for students who have been taking Ballet I or IA for 1-2 years. Placement in this level is generally by instructor recommendation and for 3rd-4th grade and up."

Now we'll slowly introduce all of our class offerings! This morning we're sharing the details for our DANCE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN CLASSES

"DYC courses are designed to expand a child's understanding of their body through motion. Classes will encourage the child’s development of basic movement skills, provide them with a positive self-image in movement, and broaden their understanding of dance as an art form. Children in DYC classes experience movement through music and creative expression. They build confidence and a sense of achievement while mastering fundamental skills and the basics of dance. Completion of the DYC program prepares young dancers for more advanced Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Modern dance classes."
