Hygiene Drive - Help us support our students and campus community! Through January 30th, donate hygiene items for the Tech Food Pantry. Boxes located in various buildings on campus including the RUC, Oakley Hall, the STEM Center, Athletics (The Hoop).
Clothing Donations - We're accepting gently used/new clothes through this Wednesday, January 21st. Clean out your closet and give your clothes a new home!πŸ’–

Excited to work with Dr. Ogbomo from Tennessee Tech University 's College of Education to take 14 of our students to Ghana over the next 10 days! Started out yesterday with travel to DC for our connection and ended it with first a flight delay and then a cancelation there. Had an overnight stay in DC and now ready to board the plane tonight to begin our trip in Ghana! Looking forward to a great trip with these ladies! Ghana here we come!

Thank you to President Oldham, the Provost's Office, the College of Education, the Office of Access, Belonging, and Community Outreach, Center for Global Studies, Student Affairs, Tech community, and the MAAAC for your assistance and support to make this trip happen! Welcome back from Easter break! We want to let you know that the BCC is going to be having some renovations done, and we are not sure when it will be reopened. Until further notice, all BCC programming (unless otherwise noted) will be held in the Intercultural Lounge (Roaden University Center 241). Intercultural Affairs staff will be located in the Student Engagement Office (Roaden University Center Room 208).

Join us on Monday, March 31st @ 6:00 pm in the Roaden University Center Multipurpose Room (RUC 282) for a Fireside Chat with Mrs. Juanita Ingram - attorney, author, actress and a recent Mrs. Universe. Mrs. Ingram will share her story of navigating her career, following her passions, and being a wife and mother. She has done great work as an attorney and as expat who helped to start the Dress for Success in London. She is a Chattanooga, TN native, a graduate of Tennessee State University, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Today, Intercultural Affairs invites you to attend 2 events in one! One is a Women's History Month "Live on the Plaza" event with Crystal Rose playing live music on the Centennial Plaza from 6-9 pm. During this show, you can also participate in making a charm bracelet, eating some delicious food, and celebrating Women's History Month! In addition, there will be another Clothing Giveaway for students taking place in the Roaden University Center Multipurpose Room (RUC 282). Starting at 6 pm, students can come and pick out free formal wear and business attire for the upcoming Student Engagement gala. We hope you will be able to make it to at least one of these events tonight!

Intercultural Affairs, the Fashion Merchandising and Design Department, the SOLO Events Committee, and the Office of First-Generation Student Success are partnering to put on a Clothing Giveaway and Makeover Event for students! This event will begin at 5:30 pm on March 11 in the Roaden University Center Multipurpose Room (RUC 282). Local businesses, stylists, and make up artists will provide their services to students. This is sure to be a memorable and beneficial event for students!

If you are interested in donating clothing, there is also a clothing drive happening until March 10. Until March 7, there will be clothing donation boxes in the Roaden University Center lobby, outside the Intercultural Lounge (2nd floor of the RUC), and in the lobby outside the Human Ecology Office in Oakley Hall. If you would like to donate clothes on March 10th, please bring them to the Intercultural Affairs office (Roaden Univeristy Center 258). Donating your suit separates, dress shirts, dress shoes, formal gowns, and jewelry will allow students access to formalwear for the upcoming Masquerade Ball!
