Dolly isn't just a country music icon; she’s a champion for children, early literacy, and education. Through her Imagination Library, she has transformed how millions of kids build a love for reading. By mailing free, high-quality books to children every month from birth until age five, regardless of family income, Dolly has laid the foundation for lifelong learning in communities across the globe.
Her dedication reminds us that literacy is the key to unlocking a child's full potential, and we couldn't be prouder to celebrate her legacy today.

✨ Honoring Our Past. Celebrating Our Present. Carrying the Torch Into Our Future. ✨

What started as an end-of-the-school-year project continued throughout the summer as our Culture and Climate Committee along with Express Signs and Marketing worked to organize and showcase the graduates of both Putnam County Adult High School and VITAL School.
This display tells the story of where we’ve been, how we’ve grown, and the pathway that connects our past to our present. Today, we are proud to carry the torch, honoring those who came before us while continuing to build the VITAL School story for those who will come next. ❤️💙🔥
The display is still a work in progress, but we are already so excited about how it has turned out! We can’t wait to continue adding to it and celebrating every graduate who has helped pave the way.

🎒 Attention VITAL Trailblazers! 🎒
Mark your calendars! July 31st is our Back to School Orientation & Computer Checkout day, We are excited and ready to welcome you to a great new school year! 🔥

Here is everything you need to know before you arrive:

⏰ Orientation & Computer Checkout Schedule (July 31st)
5th & 6th Grades: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM (All NEW students)

7th & 8th Grades: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (All NEW students)

9th & 10th Grades: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM (ALL 9th graders + all NEW 10th graders) - Returning 9th graderes are required because 9th grade is ew to the High School.

11th & 12th Grades: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM (All NEW students)

💻 Returning Students (Grades 6–8 & 10–12): If you are not required to attend orientation, you can swing by for Computer Checkout anytime between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

⚠️ Important Enrollment Reminder for new Students
Your child must be enrolled prior to attending orientation. If you have a returning student, they are good. If you haven't completed enrollment yet, please register today!

📢 Attention Putnam County Families! 🎒💻

Enrollment is now open for VITAL School (Grades 5–12), Putnam County’s official virtual public school and seats are limited! In order to start school on time, all students must be fully enrolled and processed prior to registration day.

📌 IMPORTANT FOR NEW VITAL SCHOOL STUDENTS:
All newly enrolled students are required to attend an in-person orientation on Friday, July 31st. Grade-specific session times will be detailed in your official VITAL School Welcome Letter.
