Grace Makes Space

Grief can leave you fragile and wounded and in that state it is paramount to ensure that what you attach yourself to and what you allow to be attached to you is not only fitting and feeling good in the moment. Because once you get to a certain level of healing in your grief journey what once fit, what once felt good may no longer!

Pace is so important in your journey with grief. Many times you have to sit in your state of stagnancy during grief for a period of time to heal and remain in a place that feels motionless. That time that feels like slowed progress is necessary because if you attempt to move through this process too quickly you may end up doing more harm than good.

HELLO GMS family, I recently had a beautiful conversation with my sister Andrea St. Louis, MBA, MA during her panel (PLEASE check her out she is AMAZING) discussing grief, loss and transition. Many wonderful conversations were had that didn’t make the panel discussion.

The weight of THE world and the weight of YOUR world can become overwhelming, which is why it is imperative to find your rhythm in communing and spending time with God.

Let God be your source of stability, peace and joy!

Our life experiences differ as our faces differ but coming to the stage in life where you have accepted your course and your experiences in life knowing that God (despite everything) will work it out for your good!

This is one of the most peaceful stages in life you can reach!

There is a coming a time in your life , if you are journeying through this life with God, that He will make a request of you that makes you uncomfortable, afraid, something that will stretch you.

Because after all this life that you have lived and everything, God has taught you and everything that you’ve acquired from God and through life experiences you are so full that it’s time to empty yourself out. It’s time to transition from only being a consumer of God‘s blessing to now being a contributor to God‘s kingdom.

But understand all these wonderful blessings come with added pressure.

God will fortify you to handle the pressure of the blessing
AND/OR allow the pressure of the blessing to fortify you!

Either way make sure you are open and ready for the pressures of MORE and the pressure of NEW!

HE wants to equipment you so the pressure won’t crush you!
And remember you are never in this alone, HE is with you every single step of the way!
