Congratulations to our Media Specialist, Mr. Bryan, who was selected as a Star Teacher by a former student last month at the Superintendent’s Academic Awards help at Salem High School. This awards ceremony recognizes the Top 10 Academic 10th, 11th, and 12 graders from each one of the four Rockdale County High Schools. Each student gets to pick one teacher that helped them in their academic journey to be recognized as their Star Teacher. Congratulations again for all you’ve done for our students past and present.

SCE was well represented at the Oratorical Showcase with Lena Jones and Gabrielle Taitt representing the 3rd-5th graders and Callie Freeman, Ivy Washington, Khaden Kimble, and Nassor White representing the K-2nd graders. They did an awesome job!

We are proud to celebrate our Shoal Creek Elementary scholars for earning 3rd place overall at the RCPS Science Olympiad! This outstanding accomplishment reflects their curiosity, teamwork, and dedication to learning. Our students worked incredibly hard alongside Ms. Weber, preparing diligently and confidently sharing their scientific knowledge and skills. Their commitment truly paid off, and we could not be more proud of their efforts.
