RCPS SCHOOLS CELEBREATE MILESTONES GAINS
Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) celebrates gains made by schools on the 2025-26 Georgia Milestones Assessments, showing tremendous growth in Mathematics across the district with additional increases in Science, Social Studies, Biology, and U.S. History.
“I congratulate all our schools for their gains in achievement on the Milestones Assessments,” said Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Johnson. “We will continue to focus on growth and improvement to ensure every student is successful and prepared to move up in their educational journey.”
The following schools increased their 2025-26 Georgia Milestones End of Grade (EOG) / End of Course (EOC) performance by more than 10 percentage points in any tested subject.
· M.G. Barksdale Elementary increased 3rd Grade Math by 15 percentage points and 5th Grade Math by 11 percentage points.
· Flat Shoals Elementary increased 3rd Grade Math by 16 percentage points.
· D.L. Sims Elementary increased 4th Grade Math by 20 percentage points.
· Honey Creek Elementary increased 5th Grade Science by 17 percentage points.
· J.H. House Elementary increased 4th Grade Math by 18 percentage points.
· Lorraine Elementary increased 5th Grade Math by 18 percentage points.
· Peek’s Chapel Elementary increased 4th Grade Math by 12 percentage points.
· Shoal Creek Elementary increased 3rd Grade and 4th Grade Math by 11 percentage points.
· General Ray Davis Middle increased 8th Grade Algebra Concepts and Connections by 11 percentage points, 8th Grade Science by 15 percentage points, and 8th Grade Physical Science by 25 percentage points.
· Memorial Middle increased 7th Grade Math by 12 percentage points, 8th Grade Algebra Concepts and Connections by 15 percentage points.
The following schools increased their 2025-26 Georgia Milestones End of Grade (EOG) / End of Course (EOC) performance by 8-10 percentage points in any tested subject.
· Flat Shoals Elementary increased 4th Grade Math by 10 percentage points.
· Hightower Trail Elementary increased 4th Grade Math by 9 percentage points.
· Honey Creek Elementary increased 3rd Grade Math by 9 percentage points and 5th Grade Math by 10 percentage points.
· Peek’s Chapel Elementary increased 3rd Grade Math by 9 percentage points.
· Shoal Creek Elementary increased 5th Grade Math by 8 percentage points.
· General Ray Davis Middle increased 8th Grade Social Studies by 9 percentage points.
· Rockdale County High increased Biology by 8 percentage points.
The following schools increased their 2025-26 Georgia Milestones End of Grade (EOG) / End of Course (EOC) performance by 5-7 percentage points in any tested subject.
· Honey Creek Elementary increased 4th Grade Math by 5 percentage points.
· J.H. House Elementary increased 3rd Grade Math by 7 percentage points.
· Lorraine Elementary increased 4th Grade Math by 7 percentage points.
· Pine Street Elementary increased 5th Grade Science by 6 percentage points.
· Conyers Middle increased 6th Grade Math by 5 percentage points, 8th Grade Math by 6 percentage points. 8th Grade Social Studies by 6 percentage points.
· General Ray Davis Middle increased 8th Grade Math by 6 percentage points.
· G.L. Edwards Middle increased 6th Grade Math by 6 percentage points and 8th Grade Physical Science by 5 percentage points.
· Rockdale County High increased Algebra Concepts and Connections by 7 percentage points.
The following schools increased their 2025-26 Georgia Milestones End of Grade (EOG) / End of Course (EOC) performance by 1-4 percentage points in any tested subject.
· C.J. Hicks Elementary increased 5th Grade Math by 4 percentage points.
· Hightower Trail Elementary increased 3rd Grade Math by 1 percentage point.
· J.H. House Elementary increased 5th Grade Math by 3 percentage points.
· Pine Street Elementary increased 3rd Grade Math by 3 percentage points and 4th Grade Math by 2 percentage points.
· Conyers Middle School increased 7th Grade Math by 2 percentage points and 8th Grade Science by 1 percentage point.
· G.L. Edwards Middle School increased 7th Grade Math by 3 percentage points.
· Heritage High increased Biology by 3 percentage points.
· Salem High increased Algebra Concepts and Connections by 3 percentage points and U.S. History by 4 percentage points.
Retest scores are included for 5th Grade and 8th Grade Math, and summer scores are included for high school subjects.
