Our mission: provide military/veteran students for success. SVRC UCA is a student veteran operated organization that will provide military service members, veterans and their families with resources , support and advocacy. SVRC will be prepared to facilitate any general military question and or issues. SVRC will help equip veterans with information needed to succeed in a higher education setting.

Time of Distribution: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Items to be received: Milk Instant, Orange Juice, Fig Nuggets, Peaches, Blueberry Highbush Frozen, Corn
Frozen, Pea Green Frozen, Cream of Chicken Soup, Beans Garbanzo Dry, Lentils Dry, Beans Pinto, Peanut
Butter, Walnuts, Pistachio, Pasta Spaghetti, Egg Noodles, Pasta Macaroni, Farina Wheat, Pork Canned, Ham
Frozen Sliced, Fish AK Po***ck Nuggets
Each household will receive 1 to 3 of each item as supplies last.
Commodities will be given on a first come first serve basis.
REQUIREMENTS: declaration of household income. If you are picking up commodities for someone,
you must have a signed and dated statement from that person giving you permission to pick up their
commodities. You may pick up for only 1 other person. Distribution will be a curbside service, bring
your cell phone if possible

Some Holiday Benefits for Military Families in Need:
Operation Christmas Spirit supports local military families in the form of holiday gratitude by “adopting” over 100 families and fulfilling their Christmas wish lists with gifts for all family members and gift cards to do their own shopping; Sponsoring gifts and crafts at unit holiday parties; and “Adopting” single Marines and Sailors, giving them gifts and gifts cards to celebrate whether near or far from their families.

The U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The program is for all children, including military kids. Donate or request a toy.

Every family needs a Christmas tree and Tree for Troops, sponsored by the Christmas Spirit Foundation, offers free Christmas trees for military families. Trees are available at 62 bases throughout the United States.
