Members of the Alumni Association Board of Governors were on campus yesterday welcoming new Warriors and handing out a special welcome gift - a Hendrix lanyard wristlet - to help kick off their Hendrix journey.

Dawne (Benafield) Vandiver ’73 recently brought her granddaughter, Gracie, to Hendrix for a campus tour - and we think we may have spotted a future Warrior!

A lot is happening at Hendrix! And we’re excited about where we’re headed. 🧡

The Hendrix College Board of Trustees has unanimously approved a five-year contract to retain President Karen Petersen through 2031.

Since arriving in 2023, President Petersen has helped lead Hendrix through significant growth in philanthropy, student opportunities, community partnerships, campus investment and career preparation, including the launch of Via Hendrix.

As we celebrate 150 years of Hendrix and look ahead to the next 150, we’re excited to have President Petersen continuing to lead the way.

Last Friday, we welcomed high school seniors to campus for Envision Your Future Via Hendrix, a visit day introducing students to Hendrix and our new Via Hendrix program.

We were especially excited to see several Hendrix alumni bring their future Warriors along for the day! It’s always fun to see Hendrix connections continue from one generation to the next.

Thanks to everyone who joined us, and we hope to see some of these future Warriors back on campus soon!

A visit to Hendrix isn't complete without a little orange to take home! 🧡

We loved welcoming siblings Mary Kaye (Taylor) Crenshaw '85 and Jim Taylor '87 back to campus for a visit. It was wonderful catching up with them, and they left with a Hendrix tumbler to remember their trip back to campus.

From Singapore to Hendrix! 🧡

We were thrilled to welcome Neal Moses '95 back to campus from Singapore for a visit with his son, Harry, who is exploring Hendrix as a prospective student.

There's something special about seeing an alumnus share the Hendrix experience with the next generation. We loved having Neal and Harry on campus and hope their visit was just the beginning of Harry's own Hendrix story!

Dallas stopped by Hendrix for a visit - and he brought along two adorable four-legged companions who quickly stole the show! 🐾
