This afternoon we proudly recognized our very own Mrs. Amber Dickson, Administrative Assistant at Vilonia Primary School, for being named the 2025-2026 Vilonia School District Employee of the Year!

Through the years, Mrs. Dickson has faithfully served the Vilonia School District in multiple capacities, always stepping in wherever needed and making a positive impact along the way. Her dedication, flexibility, and servant heart have touched countless students, staff, and families across our district.

At VPS, she is the heart of our front office and a true blessing to everyone who walks through our doors. Whether she is greeting families with a smile, helping staff behind the scenes, or going above and beyond to support others, Mrs. Dickson represents the very best of Vilonia Schools.

We are incredibly proud of this well-deserved recognition and thankful for all she does for our school community. Congratulations, Mrs. Dickson! 💙🦅

Today we celebrate these three lovely ladies as they begin their retirement and step into exciting new chapters of their lives. Combined, they have dedicated well over 70 years to Vilonia Primary School. From serving as a paraprofessional, to teaching in the classroom, to leading as school principal, each has faithfully served students and families with dedication, kindness, and heart. Their impact on our school community will be felt for years to come and they will always hold a special place in the VPS family. Wishing each of them endless joy, relaxation, and blessings in this well-earned retirement journey ahead!

Today we celebrate two of the very best on National Speech Pathology Day!

Thank you, Ms. Briggler and Mrs. Little, for the patience, encouragement, and care you pour into our students every single day. Your work helps students find their voices, build confidence, and reach new milestones in and out of the classroom.

We are so thankful for the difference you make at VPS and for the love you show our students and families. Happy National Speech Pathology Day! 💙

What a FUN day we had at Field Day! From water sprays and bounce houses to sno cones, games, laughter, and so much more, our students made memories that will last all summer long. ☀️💦🍧

There’s nothing better than seeing smiling faces, teamwork, and pure joy all around campus. A special thank you to our amazing PTO crew and all of our volunteers for helping make this day unforgettable for our students and staff. We are so thankful for your time, support, and love for our school!

As we close out the month of April, we are proud to recognize our soaring eagles who have demonstrated the 8 habits through our Leader in Me program in meaningful ways each and every day! These students lead with kindness, responsibility, teamwork, and perseverance while setting a positive example for others. We are so proud of the way they continue to grow as leaders both inside and outside the classroom. Keep soaring, Eagles! 🦅

🍽️ Picnic Lunch: 12- 12:30PM (Outdoor picnic with your classmates!)

🎉 Activities: wet and dry bounce houses, snow cones, and other activities scheduled for classes throughout the day!

📚 Book Fair: Stop by the library and pick out a few great reads for the summer!

☀️ Free Summer Meals for Kids! ☀️

School might be out, but lunch is still in! Our school district is proud to provide free, nutritious meals to all children and teens in our community throughout the summer break.

Food box distribution will be on every Monday beginning June 1st, 2026 till July 31st!
Children will receive a week’s worth of breakfast and lunch each week throughout the summer.

Rules for participation:
#1 Meals are available for children ages 1–18.
#2 Children cannot receive duplicate meals. If you have children participating in Eagles Landing or any other activities on campus and they will be receiving meals on campus, you will not be eligible for these weekly boxes.
#3 Children should be present at pick-up unless a Parent Consent Form is completed.
#4 Some food items may require refrigeration—please plan to store meals safely until eaten.
