What a DAY!! South Region Orchestra auditions in Searcy are all over, and we are so very proud of EVERY student who auditioned today! It takes so much courage to push yourself on really challenging music, take risks, and devote all that time and effort into practice as well as the audition day. 👏👏

Fierce competition this year with our friend in Fort Smith joining the South Region, but Conway still had a strong showing!! Check out all those students who earned seats, and look how many first chair players as well!! 😎💪

Also, a H U G E thanks to the Searcy orchestra director and booster club for being such incredible hosts, and to our own AMAZING crew of parent volunteers, as well as our bus and U-Haul drivers, who helped make it all happen 🥰

We're down to the LAST FEW DAYS of our Concert Program Ad sale!! Local business and individual donor support will appear in all of our orchestra concert programs throughout the school year. Ads will run in our digital program for our annual "La Fiesta Orquesta" concerts in November, as well as in our full-color printed program books for each of our mainstage concerts in January, April, and May. Mr. Buck is at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville this lovely Saturday morning in his role as Arkansas State Orchestra chair. He’s representing orchestra students and programs across the state, working with colleagues in band and choir to plan the 2027 Arkansas All-State auditions and music conference. It’s going to be a great one!!
