🌱 Join us this Saturday, June 13, at 9:00 AM in the CLE Summer Learning Garden!

We’ll be planting pole beans and zinnias, mulching pepper beds, harvesting strawberries, blackberries, peppers, cucumbers, and horticulture beans, rinsing trays, and pulling weeds.

Families and children are welcome—there’s a job for everyone and no gardening experience is needed!

🐾 CATS IN COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE 🐾

Our Wampus Cat family is coming together to support Conway Public Schools students and families this summer!

We're collecting non-perishable food items now through June 23 that will be distributed during our Cats in Community Food Giveaway on June 25. Every donation helps provide food and resources to families in need during the summer months.

🗓️ Donation Drop-Off Dates: June 9–23

📍 Drop-Off Locations:
• Conway High School
• Kroger (Prince Street)
• Walmart (Highway 65)
• United Way

🥫 Most Needed Items:
• Peanut butter, canned tuna, canned chicken, soups, chili, canned beans, protein snacks
• Mac & cheese, pasta, rice, pasta sauce, instant potatoes, ramen noodles, boxed meal kits
• Canned vegetables, canned fruit, applesauce, crackers, granola bars, cereal, oatmeal packets, pancake mix, breakfast bars

Please ensure all food items are unopened, sealed, and within their expiration date.

It is with great pleasure that we announce a record attendance of 24 individuals this morning. We welcomed many new families and also celebrated the loyalty of those who have been with us 50 times. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned regular, we appreciate your presence and value your time. If you were unable to join us today, there's still time to participate – our event runs all summer. We look forward to welcoming you next Saturday!🪴🪏

🌱 CLE Summer Learning Garden – Saturday, June 6 🌱

Join us this Saturday at 9:00 AM at the Carolyn Lewis Elementary Garden!

This week’s projects include:
🍓 Harvesting strawberries and blackberries
🥒 Checking for ripe cucumbers
🫛 Finishing the planting of purple hull peas
🌸 Making zinnia bouquets and planting more flowers
🥕 Pulling carrots
🌱 Deciding what to plant after removing the sugar snap peas
🌿 Preparing an area for native plants around the new shed

We’ll also be washing out plant trays, so be sure to wear rubber boots or shoes that can get WET! 💦

Families, children, and volunteers of all experience levels are welcome. There’s always a job for everyone, and suggestions are encouraged!

Mrs. Silliman, Mrs. Fisher, and Mr. Smith recently attended the Arkansas School Behavior Conference to learn new ways to support and meet the needs of our students. They are excited to bring back fresh ideas and strategies that will help our students and staff continue to thrive at CLE! 💙

Looking for a fun way to spend Saturday morning? Come help in the Carolyn Lewis Elementary Garden this Saturday, May 30 at 9:00 AM!

🌿 Help care for our 16 garden beds filled with vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, and pollinator plants
🍓 Harvest fresh produce and take some home
👨‍👩‍👧 Families and kids are welcome
🌻 Master Gardeners are invited to share tips and guidance
