VFW Post 2259

Been lots of likes to the event on the 9th. I would really like to see some of you show up. Liking the post is one thing, coming to support shows much more power. See everyone on the 9th.

Conway VFW post 2259 will be hosting a Veterans Day lunch on Saturday November 9th from 11:00 until 2:00. We invite EVERYONE to come join us for a delicious lunch, camaraderie and fellowship. We will be serving a selection of Chili’s, Soups and Sides a long with drinks and desserts.

Great job Conway VFW and Auxiliary on the recruiting and buddy poppy drive yesterday! Thanks for continuing to support our veterans, their families and our community.

My wife and I attended Searcy’s POW/MIA ceremony this evening. Searcy’s post and Auxiliary did an amazing job performing this ceremony in honor of these Veterans. We were able spend some time at the post and visit which we always enjoy doing. Thank you everyone at post 2330 for always being so welcoming and fun to visit.

Thank you to everyone that showed up to put flags out for the veterans in Crestlawn Cemetery yesterday. It was great to see everyone and so happy to see all ages participating and taking honor in placing these flags. It was so amazing to see all the young people out there.

Sorry for the late notice. We will be putting flags out at the Creast lawn cemetery this Saturday. Please come join us as we honor our brothers and sisters that didn’t make it home. Meeting up at 7:30 and starting flag placement at 8. Hope to see as many members and guests as possible.

Had an amazing day at the 3rd Annual Car and Bike show with the CVMA and Toad Suck Harley Davidson. A huge thank you to Ark State Recruiter Darrell Darner and his team for recruiting 18 VFW members and 2 Auxiliary members (to many names to list). Way to go Team!!! A special thank you to Conway VFW and Auxiliary members for your strong support in attendance today!! It was great to see so many familiar faces to include a couple of family members.

Conway VFW Post 2259 monthly meeting information. To all members and Auxiliary. October the 15 is our next meeting. Meeting is at 10 a.m at the DAV building. 1490 South Donaghey ave., Conway, Ar. 72034. There will be a BBQ lunch afterwards. We are doing a membership drive, so if you are or know a member that their dues are not paid, This would be a wonderful opportunity for you to come and renew your membership, see what the post is doing, spend time with amazing comrades and have a bit to eat, all in one afternoon.

Sports Clips of Conway and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Conway 2259 are teaming up for “Help a Hero” Golf tournament. I encourage any and all VFW’s to sign up and bring a team!
