Last night our Moose wouldn’t come away from the back door - I realized he was watching a baby barn swallow under the wood pile. I got a stick to push him out and the parents seemed happy and so encouraging to get it into flight! It hopped to its parents and finally took off . This picture I’m posting was the end of a video and I wanted to share it . They haven’t bothered me or the kids outside like they have in past years - we are enjoying them so much .

I just went thru pictures from Friday and I forgot our baby birds - the ferns are crunchy because they all have baby birds in them and I didn’t want to drown the little ones! 🐦‍⬛🪹🐦‍⬛ barn swallows are on their second family’s , I like how another family will take over the nest and they are protected federally . They sure are messy tho .
