We had a great “camping theme” day yesterday as our end of the year party. We had owl pellets investigations, flashlight reading, Camping Math, hotdogs, scary stories, Marshmallow Constellations, S’mores, and IPad games. It was fun, fun, fun.

Art in the Yard 2019

Friday was another day of fun. It was Art in the Yard! The kids played, danced, created art, and listened to one of our alumni blow the roof off the place.

This is Field Day 2019! It was wet and fun!

Our Recycling Field Trip we won was today at Fun Warehouse! It was a blast! Fun was had by all!

Today we went to the Solid Waste Authority’s Landfill. It was fun and the students learned a lot. Kendra did a great job as usual and answered many questions that the students had. We then had lunch in the park.

Today was Art in the Yard at South Conway Elementary. We had a great time rock painting, sidewalk chalk art, a comedy show, dance and karate exhibition, and finally a show that involved juggling fire. The cherry on top was a pie in the face to Mr. Hayes and Ms. Livingston for reaching our reading goals as a school!

We had a wonderful day outside for field day. Our kids had great sportsmanship and supported each other in all the races. I was a very proud teacher today.

South Conway fourth grade worked hard and won Talkin’ Trash again this year. Our prize was a super awesome fun day at Fun Warehouse! Thank you to Kendra and Victoria for all their hard work and everyone at Fox News. The staff at Fun Warehouse was awesome also! The kids were great and had a wonderful time.
