At St. Joseph Elementary (pictured) and Middle School, we had the 3rd Quarter Conduct Reward Celebration yesterday morning! THANK YOU to our amazing PTO for sponsoring breakfast and a show for all 1st-6th graders with a 90% or above in conduct last quarter! Way to go, Bulldogs!

St. Joseph Middle School students had a blast at the St Patrick's Day Festival! "They rotated through an escape room station with Mrs. Rehm, played fun games with Mrs. Testone, and learned lots of information about St. Patrick from Father Daniel before practicing their marshmallow stacking skills. And of course, enjoyed lots of candy!" explained Ms. Porcaro, Middle School Administrative Assistant and coordinator of this event. THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year’s festival a success!

Recently at St. Joseph Elementary, Mr. Horpedahl, UCA Economics instructor and dad of 6th grader Soren, stopped by to talk to the 3rd grade to help wrap up their economics unit. "He did an activity where each student got a bag of treats. They gave each piece of candy a value of 1 to 10. Then, they traded to find their new total. They did this twice and then discussed how they got their value to go up," explained Mrs. Bacon, 3rd Grade Teacher. Thank you, Mr. Horpedahl, for leading such a fun activity with our students!

Today, we would like to recognize St. Joseph Senior Vince Porcaro who has been offered the University of Central Arkansas Achievement Scholarship valued at $26,000. CONGRATULATIONS, Vince!

The Integrity Insurance "Players of the Week" were announced Friday afternoon. They are senior cheerleaders Josie Jackson and Anniston Potts. Both have been cheerleading for most of their high school years. It's fair to say they have been the "face" of our senior girls and boys basketball teams, by rallying fans and enhancing the atmosphere at games and pep rallies. They've also served as mentors to younger girls. Thank you, Josie and Aniston, for epitomizing school spirit. Go Bulldogs!
