The Vortex is hiring for the 2026-2027 school year! UCA’s undergraduate literary and art magazine is bringing on paid staff and volunteer readers for our poetry, fiction, nonfiction, script, and art sections! We are also hiring for layout and social media/marketing positions! Come by our interesting meeting on Tuesday September 1 in Thompson 211 during X-Period to hear information and a timeline for Vortex 26-27! See you there!

Along with this, Drew has been accepted into an MFA program at UC Riverside for Writing for the Performing Arts!
