Proud of our Hadassah!!

Though our 2025-2026 Season came to an end on May 9th, the Arkansas Chamber Singers clearly have their eye on the future not only for the coming 2026-2027 Season but for many years beyond. In this photo Membership President Amy Wittenburg presents high school senior Hadassah Smith with the 2025-2026 Jimmie and Alice Dyer Memorial Scholarship given by the ACS. Hadassah is a student at Conway High School and was selected for the $2000.00 scholarship after auditions in April. In addition to completing the audition, applicants must have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 and plan to major in vocal/choral music at an accredited four-year institution of higher education in Arkansas. You can learn more about the scholarship, given annually, on our website. The future of choral music is in good hands indeed.

Congratulations to Hadley, Rose, and Seth (CSMS), Ella and Aiden (CJHS), and Ainsley, Jacob, Jack, and Aryana (CHS) for being selected to participate in the Southwestern American Choral Directors Association Honor Choirs! Last week they traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where they spent several days rehearsing and collaborating with talented singers from across the region, culminating in a wonderful concert this past Saturday.

We are incredibly proud of these students for going above and beyond to take advantage of such a fabulous enrichment opportunity. Their dedication, hard work, and love of music truly shine!

Fundraising is vital for the success of our program. The funds will aid us in purchasing new uniforms, equipment and other pertinent expenses. Each participant has a monetary goal, please consider donating or sharing via social media so that they may reach it. Thank you so much for your support.
