This June, Shelby will travel to the Aspen Institute campus to engage with visionary thinkers and innovative leaders from around the world while representing Arkansas in conversations about community development, leadership, and innovation.

The festival may have been one month ago, but the community benefits are in full swing. This week more than 100 area students are attending an ACT preparation course coordinated by UCA Outreach & Community Engagement and Conway Public Schools.

These students will receive instruction and test-taking strategies from University of Central Arkansas faculty and alumni. Higher scores means more scholarship dollars for families. And it’s all possible because of our festival and sponsors. Kudos to these students for sacrificing a little bit of their summer for academic excellence!
