There are some things you can’t build overnight.
ARTKD is not a pop-up martial arts school. It is the product of decades of teaching, learning, sacrifice, mentorship, and legacy.
This picture represents so much more than the people standing in it. It represents the past, the present, and the future of ARTKD.
We are incredibly grateful for Master Bob Blankenship, Mrs. Katherine Blankenship, and Master Wyck Blankenship, people who poured countless hours, knowledge, discipline, and love into this art and into the people who came after them.
And to Grandmaster Almarri, Olympic coach, thank you for the continued guidance, wisdom, and influence you have poured into Mr. Drew, the Team, and into the journey we continue to walk.
The Stiles family is deeply honored to stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. We don’t take that responsibility lightly.
Because that is one of the most beautiful things about Taekwondo: you inherit a legacy, you learn from it, you grow through it, and then you carry it forward.
The goal isn’t to replace what came before us.
It’s to honor it, protect it, build upon it, and give the next generation something even greater to carry forward.
ARTKD is rooted in something much bigger than a building, a logo, or a class schedule.
It is rooted in people.
In mentorship.
In tradition.
In growth.
In family.
In the lifelong pursuit of becoming better.
We are incredibly thankful for everyone who has helped shape this journey and for the art of Taekwondo that has given our family so much in return.
The legacy continues. 🥋
