Move-in day is always better with a little help from friends! 🧡🖤

A big thank you to our Hendrix Parent Leadership Council (HPLC) members who spent part of move-in day in the Parent Lounge welcoming families, answering questions, sharing stories, and making sure parents had a place to take a breath (and maybe grab a snack or a tissue!).

We love the energy our HPLC parents bring to the Hendrix community - and we’d love to see more of you join them! If you’re looking for a fun way to get more involved, meet other Hendrix parents, and help make a difference, the HPLC might be just the place for you.

Move-in is happening, and we’re getting ready to welcome even more Warriors! 🧡🖤

Athletes have already started moving in, and tomorrow, August 18, is the big day for the rest of our new students! If you’re coming to campus tomorrow, be sure to stop by the Parent Lounge in the SLTC Game Room. Grab a snack, take a breather, meet other Hendrix parents, and come say hello!

And parents of returning students - we’ll be here for you, too, on Sunday, August 23!

We're back! 🧡🖤

It's almost time to welcome the Class of 2030 to Hendrix, and we can't wait to meet all of our new Hendrix families!

Move-In Day is just around the corner, followed by a week full of new experiences - Orientation, Warrior Welcome, the Class Photo, Disco Days, Waterpalooza, and so much more. Before you know it, your student will be making new friends, discovering new traditions, and starting to feel right at home.

We'll be here throughout move-in and beyond to share updates, photos, helpful information, and a few proud parent moments along the way.

August 18-24 is the beginning of an incredible Hendrix journey.

Your ticket includes dinner at the 3rd Base Plaza, admission to the game, and a great opportunity to connect with the Hendrix community while enjoying an evening at the ballpark. 🧡🖤

We’re excited to welcome Judge Shawn Johnson ’98 back to campus as the speaker for Hendrix College Commencement 2026! 🎓

A Hendrix alumnus and current circuit judge for Arkansas’s Sixth Judicial Circuit, Judge Johnson has built a career centered on leadership, service, and community. From serving in the White House to civic leadership across Arkansas, his journey is sure to offer meaningful encouragement and inspiration to our graduating seniors and their families.

Commencement will take place Saturday, May 16, at 9 a.m. in the Wellness and Athletics Center.

Judge Shawn Johnson ’98 has built a career rooted in leadership, service, and community, and now he’s returning to campus to share his story with the Hendrix College Class of 2026. 🎓

Johnson, who currently serves as circuit judge for Arkansas’s Sixth Judicial Circuit, will deliver the commencement address on Saturday, May 16, at 9 a.m. in the Hendrix Wellness and Athletics Center. A Hendrix alumnus, Johnson’s path has included service in the White House, work in the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office, and years of civic leadership across the state.
