Uncharted is a storytelling partner of the Creative Careers Studio from Arts Grow SC and the South Carolina Arts Commission to introduce young creatives to their future selves.

We profile working creatives in every industry we can find, produce a podcast, and other stories to introduce everyone to our state's immense talent.

Communal Pen is traveling in South Carolina with the Smithsonian Museum on Main Street exhibit Americans. We are excited to explore how central Native American heritage and images are to our history, and we've heard some great stories already at Native American Studies Center . Our story-gathering and promotions were designed by Zoe Wolfe Atherton, one of our ARTD students, with the help of our entire Communal Pen team, and will continue to evolve with scholars and Native American consultants and storytellers.

The Museum on Main Street program is supported by the South Carolina Humanities to bring this award-winning exhibition to six communities within the state.

The Foodways Project centers Gullah Geechee foodways through food, storytelling, and community. It explores the stories, memories, traditions, and connections woven into the foods we share and the ways they connect us to history, culture, and identity.

Since its founding, the Press has been a collaborator with the Pre-Professional Studio design course in CCU Visual Arts. In this course, senior-level designers earn course credit, as well as professional development skills in public speaking, collaboration, and external feedback.
