There are so many advantages of being a smaller school. Administrators and students have opportunities to spend more time together in both formal and informal settings. Some students had this to say about Ms. Williams.

Key Club is an international, student-led service organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. Caring...it's what we do.

A special thank you to Mr. Kelvin A Waites, Sr. of Waites Lifted Consulting Group, who provided an encouraging and inspiring message and to Mrs. Goldfinch and Ms. Graham who attended, representing the Kiwanis of Conway chapter. It was truly a great night!

If you are interested in joining, please see Mr. Chappell for more information.

School report cards are out, and HCS Early College High School earned a 90 and a rating of EXCELLENT! The SC Department of Education issues school report cards, and the results reflect our students' academic achievement and the school’s environment.

A rating of Excellent: “Excellent indicates that our school’s performance substantially exceeds the criteria to ensure all students meet the Profile of the SC Graduate”.

A big factor in our rating was 100% of our seniors graduated college and career ready and the outstanding performance of students on state assessments.

Our students’ outstanding achievement reflects their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence, with 100% graduating on time and 100% college and career ready. These accomplishments are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and high expectations of our teachers, who go above and beyond to ensure every student succeeds. Our Excellent report card rating affirms our commitment to academic excellence and our mission to prepare every Trailblazer for success in college, careers, and life.

ECHS Key Club College Tour & Leadership Summit

ECHS Key Club students recently participated in a College Tour and Leadership Summit as part of their preparation for the 2026-2027 school year. Students visited Francis Marion University, University of South Carolina, Converse University, and the Key Club Fall Rally at Carowinds to learn about academic opportunities, campus resources, student organizations, and the college experience. As an added bonus, they got to see many of our Alumni as well.

The trip also provided valuable leadership development opportunities that support Key Club's commitment to service, character building, and community involvement. Through campus visits, group activities, and leadership discussions, students gained knowledge and skills that will help them grow as leaders in our school and community.

We are proud of our Key Club members for representing ECHS and taking advantage of opportunities to explore their future educational and leadership goals.
