Mrs. McMullin's Art classes spent a week learning about one-point perspective and various ways to use it. The tape murals were a conclusion to the assignment. They were divided into groups of 4-5 and they had to work collaboratively in order to come up with and sketch out their plan. They then recreated their sketch in the hallway on a larger scale using painters tape.
And they are AMAZING! Can you believe our students CREATED these?! We have some great things happening at CJHS and our students are a big part of it!

Mrs. King has some cool things going on in her classroom, check them out!
Spanish 2 classes had the option to make paper flowers as part of their lesson on Día de los Mu***os. Cempasúchil, or marigold flowers, is commonly seen for Day of the Dead. The beautiful orange and yellows represent a celebration of life.
Her classes also receive pesos as rewards. Every 9 weeks they have an auction entirely in Spanish where they can buy authentic snacks with their class pesos.
Way to make learning fun and engaging Mrs. King!
