Whittemore Park MIddle + Be Pro, Be Proud SC = Building Bright Futures!

Our Whittemore Park Middle School 8th grade students had an exciting opportunity to explore the world of skilled professions through the Be Pro, Be Proud SC Career Simulation Experience!

Through hands-on activities and interactive career simulations, students discovered how their interests, skills, and education can lead to rewarding careers and endless possibilities.

A huge THANK YOU to Be Pro, Be Proud SC Team for inspiring our Tigers to explore their potential and see that success comes in many forms!

At Whittemore Park Middle School, we believe that great teachers inspire greatness in their students! We are proud to recognize our Tiger Teachers of the Month, who were selected by the students they inspire every day!

These outstanding educators lead by example and demonstrate our PAWS expectations: Prompt and Prepared, Act Responsibly, Work with Integrity, and Show Respect.

Being recognized by students makes this honor especially meaningful! These teachers go above and beyond to create positive learning environments, build meaningful relationships, and help our Tigers grow academically and personally.

Congratulations to our Tiger Teachers of the Month! Thank you for making a PAWSitive difference with every student, every classroom, every day.

School report cards are out, and Whittemore Park Middle School earned a GOOD rating! The SC Department of Education issues school report cards, and the results reflect our students' academic achievement and the school’s environment.

A rating of Good indicates that our school’s performance exceeds the criteria to ensure all students meet the Profile of the SC Graduate. A big factor in our rating was our schoolwide instructional focus wherein Every Student had the opportunity to Think, Talk, and Write in Every Classroom, Every Day.

As we continue our climb this school year, we remain focused on providing high-quality instruction, fostering student ownership of learning, and ensuring that every student, in every classroom, every day has the opportunity to grow and succeed.
Thank you all for your continued support!

At WPMS, every day is Custodian Appreciation Day! 💚💛🐯

Our amazing custodial team works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our school clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for learning each and every day. Their hard work may not always be seen, but it is certainly felt throughout every hallway, classroom, and corner of WPMS.

Today, we wanted to give them a little extra love and remind them just how much we appreciate everything they do. WPMS simply wouldn’t sparkle without them! ✨🧹

Thank you for taking such great care of our Tiger family! 🐯💚💛
