Mother Nature was thrilled to visit today's Chocorua Library Summer Garden Storytime! Story hour was held outside in the K.A. Brett Gardens, and she made sure the weather was picture perfect for it. She had such fun today at Camp Calumet reading STEAM stories and teaching STEAM related sign language. Then she had the camp friends create their own pinwheels - even the adults participated!

There is plenty to celebrate this year with the 250th birthday of the United States, so the Statue of Liberty stopped by Madison Library this afternoon for a special story hour! She read all-American stories and taught sign language to go along with them. Then the library friends made their own wooden American flag signs to decorate their houses!

Today is the International Day of Friendship, and we celebrated with a special story hour featuring Miss Honey and Matilda! They visited the Conway Public Library to read stories about friendship and teach friendship-focused sign language. Afterward, the library friends decorated friendship boxes, which they can either give to a friend or use to hold special memories.
