Your career path doesn’t always end up looking the way you imagined. Just ask Joelie White ’15. 💙
After graduating from Coastal with a degree in business management, Joelie took her love of baking and creativity and eventually started a mobile coffee business.
She also found that something she learned at Coastal would become especially valuable: how to build connections. Joelie credits her experience in Greek life with helping develop the networking skills she now uses to connect with other small businesses, vendors, and events.
Her biggest advice for fellow alumni? Go for it, keep an open mind, stay flexible, and have fun along the way.
Now we want to hear from you: Did your career after Coastal take you somewhere you never expected? Tell us about it below! 👇

Fifty years ago today, construction began on Kimbel Library, a building that would become one of the most iconic and important spaces on Coastal Carolina University's campus.
This week, following a major renovation, as Chanticleers head back to campus for the first day of classes, Kimbel opens a new chapter while continuing a legacy that will serve generations of students to come. 👌

It’s move-in time at Coastal! 🩵
As a new group of Chanticleers moves into their residence halls and starts making CCU memories of their own, we want our alumni to take us back to where it all started.
🏠Where did you live your freshman year?
📲Do you still keep in touch with your roommate or friends from your hall?
💭What’s one memory from those first few weeks at Coastal that you’ll never forget?
Drop your residence hall and class year in the comments, and tag a fellow Chant who was there with you!
Chants Up! 👌
