The Doctoral Hooding Ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 3 pm in the Allen Ballroom.
The Hooding Ceremony is a special recognition ceremony for doctoral degree candidates from the Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences and the Gupta College of Science.
During the ceremony, a faculty member places the doctoral hood over the head of the graduate, signifying their success in completing the graduate program.
All doctoral students who apply for graduation will receive an email closer to the ceremony with additional information. Tickets are required for the ceremony, and each candidate is required to claim one ticket for themselves and they can claim up to five tickets for their guests.
For those that don’t have tickets, the ceremony will be streamed live at the Lib Jackson Student Union Theater.
