Destination Band Camp 2026 is in full swing! We are thrilled to welcome over 950 middle school students on campus for a wonderful week of music making, learning, and fun! Special thanks to all of the high school captains and camp faculty who are helping to make this week a tremendous success!

The University of Central Arkansas Bands is proud to announce that the UCA Wind Ensemble has been selected as a Featured Performing Ensemble for the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) National Conference at the University of Maryland, February 24–27, 2027! This will be the first appearance at the National CBDNA Conference in the university's history!

Congratulations to our student musicians, faculty, staff, and alumni on this amazing achievement! Go Bears!

Presenting the 2026 Bear Marching Band leadership team! We are so excited for this amazing group of people, and can’t wait to see what they accomplish this fall! It’s going to be an awesome year in Estes Stadium and we can’t wait to see you there! Go Bears! 🐻

As we transition into the summer, we want to recognize and congratulate all of the members of the UCA class of 2026! We especially want to give a shout out to our members of the graduate band staff, who will be doing amazing things next year! Thank you to Brian Wyatt and Duke Kennedy for all of their work! We are so proud of you! Go Bears!!

Tonight is the night when the UCA Wind Ensemble will feature Nois in a performance of Viet Cuong’s Second Nature! If that wasn’t enough reason to come out or tune in…graduate conducting associates Brian Wyatt and Caleb Espinosa will lead the ensemble in performances of Joel Puckett’s Prelude and Fugato from Mama Dee’s Notebook and Stravinsky’s Circus Polka, respectively. The program will conclude with a 75th Anniversary performance of Paul Hindemith’s Symphony in B-flat. It’s going to be a great night, and we look forward to sharing it with you.

Tuesday @ 7:30 pm - Featured Performers with the UCA Wind Ensemble in the Windgate Center.

This will be the final concert of the semester for the UCA Wind Ensemble and will include works by Joel Puckett, Viet Cuong (featuring ~Nois), Igor Stravinsky, and will conclude with a 75th-Anniversary performance of Paul Hindemith's Symphony in B-flat. We hope you can join us in person for these very special events!

Congratulations to the Epsilon Beta chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi and the Gamma Tau chapter of Tau Beta Sigma as the recipient of awards at the 2026 Southwest District convention in Dallas, Texas! KKY was awarded the Outstanding Musicianship pillar, and TBS was awarded the most outstanding larger chapter for the district. We are extremely proud of these wonderful organizations and all they do to help support and serve the UCA band program!
