Starting childcare is a BIG milestone — for your child and for you!

You don't have to make sure your little one can read, write, count to 100, or sit perfectly still before their first day. What actually helps is practicing the little things: short goodbyes, using their words, following simple directions, and knowing that you always come back.

And remember — your child does NOT have to be perfect to start childcare. They don't have to know everything. They don't have to be completely independent. And yes, they may even cry at first. That's okay. Childcare is one of the places where children learn these skills.

A community that shows up for its children is a community that makes a difference.

Spirit’s Heart was proud to partner with 210 Speed for a special Community School Bash focused on supporting students, families, and the community as they prepare for another school year.

From school supplies and backpacks to food, fun, resources, and meaningful connections, the day was a beautiful reminder that it truly takes a village to support our children.

At Spirit’s Heart, we believe our commitment to children extends beyond the classroom. We are passionate about creating opportunities that support families, strengthen our community, and help every child feel seen, supported, and valued.

Thank you to 210 Speed for creating space for the community to come together, and to everyone who showed up to make the day meaningful.
