🎉🎉 Congratulations to our very own Josh De Leon for earning 1st chair Drumset in the prestigious Texas Music Educators Association Jazz Ensemble I. Every Fall, thousands of musicians begin the TMEA Audition process where individual musicians perform selected music for a panel of judges who rank each instrument. From this ranking, a select group of musicians advances from their Region to TMEA Area competitions and from there the highest-ranking qualify to perform in a TMEA All-State music group. We are proud to announce that Josh will be representing Judson High School , and Judson ISD at the TMEA All-State Convention in February. At the convention, Josh will be performing alongside the states’ top high school musicians in the TMEA Jazz Ensemble I. Way to go Josh!! We are so proud of you!! 🎉🎉

🎉🎉Congratulations to our Judson High School Jazz Band students who participated at the TMEA Region 11 Jazz Auditions on Monday September 22, 2025 for their fantastic performances. We are proud to announce that seven members have earned a chair in the TMEA Region XI Jazz Band. Four of those students have advanced to the Area Jazz round and are one audition away from earning a chair in the TMEA All-State Jazz Ensembles. Many thanks to our administration for the unending support! Congratulations Rocket students and Jazz Band Director Mr. Garcia for your tireless efforts! Go Rockets!!🎉🎉
