Miquon Day Camp Miquon Day Camp is a wonderful summer fun place for youngsters ages 4 through 10. Summer is the time to try new things.

It is a time for
self discovery, friendships and an appreciation for the wonders of the natural environment. Miquon's kid-friendly program includes arts and crafts, music, drama, athletics, swimming, nature exploration, and small community-service projects There are also camp-wide theme weeks, weekly hot dog cookouts, hikes, and enough free choice time to talk to friends and explore the creek.Tak

The time has come to close out the summer at Miquon Day Camp! Although we are sad to go, we are so happy to reminisce on the great summer we had. Miquon 2024 included eventful Bunk performances, STEAM activity week, Tie Dye, the Miquon Carnival and Games, and so much more. Friends, nature, and FUN will always be waiting for you next year at Miquon Day Camp. Have a wonderful school year.

Come one, come all to the Miquon Carnival! What a great way to finish off week 5. Each bunk hosted a booth with games and prizes. There were temporary tattoos, a popcorn machine, a freeze pop stand, water games, races, a dance party, and more! Coach Bennet set up the basketball court so everyone could practice their money shot $$! We can't wait to see what's in store for next week.

Big smiles for Hot Dog Wednesday! The rain never stops the fun-- freeze tag, dance parties, art projects, and more on this fine day at Miquon Day Camp. K1 was captivated by their namesake on site...the excavators! Everyone made it down to the pool before the rain and we are all prepping for our Miquon Carnival, every bunk is making a booth with fun games and prizes.

Miquon Day Camp is back for another marvelous week 5! Can you believe we're over halfway through camp season? This week we are putting on our explorer hats and investigating the creek, finding millipedes, and learning the anatomy of insects by sculpting our own from nature. We are welcoming new and returning campers for another exciting week at Miquon Day Camp. The theme this week is "Construct a Performance", this week every bunk is working with Drama Ashely to prepare and rehearse bunk performances. The rain can't stop the fun here at Miquon! We got outside between rain showers to do Nature Linda's ABC Nature Hunt. Can you find tiny leaves, crooked branches, a line of ants, and Jupiter?? We can! We are cooling off at the pool after an eventful Week 2 at Miquon Day Camp! Today everyone participated in S.T.E.A.M. activities like launching bottle rockets, building catapults, cracking Dino eggs with vinegar, and making foaming sparkling "fireworks"! We're having so much fun this summe and can't wait to ring in Week 3.

A lot of foot traffic today at Miquon Day Camp as we welcome new and returning campers for week 2! We started this beautiful week by making friendship bracelets in Art, racing (not literally!) into the pool for some fun lessons, and playing competitive games in Athletics. Stayed tuned for what's in store for our "Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead" themed activities.
