Conroe ISD Education Foundation is proud to administer the All Means All Scholarship to this impressive group of 9th graders and future first-generation college students!

Sam Cable has a vision!! He created the All Means All Scholarship that identifies Conroe ISD Conroe High School nineth graders who could use an incentive to graduate from high school. Every month a selected All Means All Scholarship student meets the attendance and grade criteria, money is set aside for them to receive as in the form of a scholarship when they graduate. This year 10 nineth grade students were selected. Thanks to the generousity of George Sowers and Amy Barnet Sowers an endowed fund was established to provide annual funding to this scholarship, which is managed by Conroe ISD Education Foundation.

Congratulations to the Conroe ISD Education Foundation for a fantastic breakfast and State of CISD this morning! Dr. Curtis Null highlighted the accolades Conroe Independent School District has received both academically and fiscally. The highlight was when Conroe High School graduating senior Aurora Sky Castner talked how 1 person, her mentor Mona, made it possible for her to graduate from high school and consider college. Sky was born in prison and lived with her dad who was bi-polar. The commitment of 1 person who focused on Sky and her needs - in and out of school - gave Sky the support system she needed to stick with her education! Sky shared her video of opening her college acceptance letter - and she is going to Harvard! How amazing!! Montgomery County Community Foundation is proud to support the Conroe ISD Education Foundation through the Sowers Family All Means All Graduating Students Scholarship which supports students identified in 9th grade for a scholarship based on attendance and grades, when they graduate from high school.

At the Conroe ISD Annual Assembly of thousands of its educators, held at Woodlands Church, Chairman Nelda Luce Blair gave an update on the Conroe ISD Education Foundation.

Conroe ISD's annual Assembly of Schools, lead by Superintendent Dr. Don Stockton. What an incredible "Pep Rally" of thousands of educators yesterday at Woodlands Church campus! The Foundation was proud to be a part of it!

PBK, Presenting Sponsor for the Foundation's annual Scholarship Breakfast for the 10th year, was applauded for its loyal and generous support. Superintendent Dr. Don Stockton, Foundation Executive Director Maris Blair and President Nelda Luce Blair, PBK's Ian Powell.

The Conroe ISD Board of Trustees heard the annual report from this Foundation at their Board meeting earlier this week. Foundation Executive Director Maris Blair enthusiastically describes new scholarships and successful fundraising efforts for 2016. as the School Board members study the detailed report.

The first crop of student recipients of the newly formed "All Means All" Scholarship accounts was celebrated recently at an awards ceremony with students, donors, parents and administration. The dream project of Sam Cable, long time CISD educator, these scholarship accounts are awarded to select 9th graders, and will accumulate throughout their high school careers. Upon graduation, each student's account will be used as a college fund for his or her education. Congratulations to the first 14 student recipients!

WOW! Over $875 was raised for the Conroe ISD Education Foundation at the lunchtime Shopping Opportunity at KENDRA SCOTT THE WOODLANDS last week! A BIG THANK YOU to this beautiful store and all the staff, and to all of the friends of CEF who came out to shop!
