A little practice goes a long way.
At PivotED, we meet students where they are—not just where the standards say they should be. With a four-day week, hands-on learning, and real-world challenges
We offer a learner-centered education for K–6 students in a mixed-age, small-classroom setting.

We have unrealistic expectations of our children in unrealistic settings. Who deemed themselves the authority on education, not only in what we learn and how we learn, but in when it is expected to happen based on a birthday? Know better. Do better. For the kids.

We grew by one this week-and she fit right in from day one. We’re blessed to have her join our school family.

Today is the deadline to apply for TEFA funds.
I know there are mixed feelings about this program, and I get it.
But from where I sit, I’ve watched students step into environments that actually work for them—and the growth is hard to ignore. Confidence builds, stress drops, and learning starts to click in a different way.
And this isn’t about choosing my school specifically—it’s about families having the option to find what works best for their child, wherever that may be.
It’s not meant for everyone. But for some families, it can be the change they need.
If that's you, don’t miss today.
Home Beginning February 4, 2026, parents can submit applications for the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program. Education freedom accounts are designed to open doors, expand opportunities, and give each Texas child the chance to learn in the environment that fits them best.
First day in our new space = AMAZING. We’re incredibly thankful to Church Project for letting us launch there, and even more thankful that God had the next step mapped out all along.
Today was ridiculously awesome. We visited the Amazon distribution center and 🤯🤯🤯. That place is a super well oiled machine. We followed that up with some pizza and a sneak peek at our new school.

We’re moving! PivotED has grown beyond our current church room, and that’s a good problem to have. We’re stepping into our own space to make room for more students, more hands-on learning, and more real-world experiences.
We’re sharing an Amazon wishlist for those who want to contribute to the new setup—but truly, no pressure at all. This move is happening because of community support in all its forms, not shopping carts.
Thank you for believing in what we’re building. 🖤
It was a great week to have a great week!

We love our Carriage Inn visits. Seated volleyball is the fan favorite for these kiddos.
