Have experience in healthcare?? Texas HOSA Area 6 is recruiting volunteers to judge student competitive events at the Area 6 Spring Leadership Conference, February 5–6, 2027, at The Woodlands High School.

Judging requires approximately 4 hours. Orientation is provided, and a light meal will be served.

Come support CTE students as they showcase knowledge, skills, and leadership they are developing for future careers in healthcare.

🎓 Did you know Conroe ISD students can earn industry-based certifications while enrolled in their CTE courses—at NO cost to the student?

During the 2025–2026 school year, Conroe ISD students earned an incredible 3,546 TEA-recognized industry-based certifications!

From healthcare, welding, automotive and agriculture to business, technology, cosmetology, culinary arts and digital media, these credentials demonstrate real skills that students can carry into college, careers and the workforce.

We are proud of the hard work of our students and grateful for the dedicated CTE teachers who prepared, encouraged and supported them throughout the certification process!

What an incredible evening at the Timber Mill HS Steering Committee! 🐎💙

It was exciting to see a room full of parents, teachers, community stakeholders, and even future students coming together with one shared goal: helping lay the foundation for an incredible campus and an extraordinary experience for our students.

A special shoutout to the dynamic Dr. Todd for his vision, ideas, energy, and leadership. The excitement in the room was contagious, and it’s clear that something truly special is taking shape.

The next best thing is about to happen!

🌱 Being an Ag teacher goes far beyond the classroom. These teachers continually go above and beyond—hauling trailers across the state, completing year-round barn checks, responding to emergency animal situations, spending early mornings and late nights with students, and supporting at both leadership and livestock competitions throughout the year. 🚛🐄🐖🐐🌾

They teach hands-on skills, develop leaders through FFA, connect students with career opportunities, and show up time and time again to help their students succeed—whether that means being in the classroom, at the barn, on the road, or ringside at a competition.

Thank you to our Ag teachers for planting knowledge, growing leaders, and cultivating brighter futures across Conroe ISD. The time, heart, and dedication you pour into your students and programs truly represent the Texas Standard! 💙💛

Today, two meaningful Conroe ISD traditions come together as we celebrate our first The Texas Standard Day alongside Read for a Better Life Day!

Books open our minds to new possibilities, while Career and Technical Education gives students the knowledge, skills, and experiences to turn those possibilities into successful futures.

Across Conroe ISD CTE classrooms, students are learning to lead with Respect and Responsibility as they explore careers, build technical skills, solve real-world problems, and prepare for what comes next.

From the pages we read to the careers we lead, Conroe ISD CTE is building skills for a brighter future.
