Our talented children helped add new rocks they painted themselves, making our Rock Snake longer and brighter than ever. Each rock is a unique masterpiece that showcases their creativity, imagination, and hard work.

📚🦋🐛 Eric Carle Week is coming to Little Texans Childcare! 🐻🎨🐞

Join us June 22nd–26th as we celebrate the colorful stories and imagination of Eric Carle with a fun-filled dress-up week for our students and staff!

✨ Monday – Very Hungry Caterpillar Day
✨ Tuesday – Butterfly Day
✨ Wednesday – Brown Bear Day
✨ Thursday – Eric Carle Artist Day
✨ Friday – Bug Day

We can’t wait for a week full of stories, creativity, dress-up fun, and hands-on learning inspired by some of our favorite books! More details will be shared soon through Procare. ☀️📖

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness have given us the freedoms we enjoy each day.

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the heroes who gave everything for our nation. We are forever grateful for their service and sacrifice.

Memorial Day Closure Reminder

Little Texans Childcare will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

As we enjoy time with our families, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

We wish all of our families a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday!

Frog Street Preview!

At Little Texans Childcare, we believe family engagement works best when it’s simple, meaningful, and part of everyday learning not just an extra task.

That’s one reason we will be using Frog Street! Our curriculum includes built-in family engagement resources that help connect learning between home and the classroom, including:

Weekly family letters connected to classroom learning
Vocabulary words to practice at home
Easy learning extensions using common household materials
Social-emotional learning tips and emotional vocabulary support
Meaningful connections between school and home conversations

These tools help families stay involved in their child’s learning journey in realistic and accessible ways, even during busy weeks. Together, we can create strong partnerships that help every child grow, learn, and thrive!

Cher works hard every day to prepare nutritious meals and snacks that keep our little ones happy, healthy, and ready to learn. From breakfast to lunch and everything in between, so much care and love goes into every plate she serves.
