National recognition for Conroe ISD SkillsUSA students and programs! 📣✨

Fresh off a Texas state championship in April, The Woodlands High School students Graham McCoy and Madden Stahlecker earned 2nd place in Digital Cinema Production at the SkillsUSA National Convention in Atlanta. Guided by teacher Scott Faulk, the duo competed against the nation’s best by producing a five-minute short film from a prompt provided just one week before the competition. 🎥

Conroe High School’s SkillsUSA chapter was recognized as a 2026 SkillsUSA National Model of Excellence in the Workplace Skills category, becoming the only chapter in Texas and one of just 24 schools nationwide to earn the organization’s highest chapter honor. Congratulations to Chef Loucks, Onika, Isabella, and the entire Conroe HS chapter for this outstanding achievement. 🍽️

These accomplishments reflect the strength of Conroe ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, where students are developing the technical skills, leadership, creativity, and professionalism needed to succeed in college, careers, and life. Congratulations to all who represented Conroe ISD with excellence on the national stage! 🏅

College Park High School junior and second-year FFA officer Laila Bruch is pictured with Apollo, a Maine-Anjou calf born on May 14, 2026. His mom, Genisse, was her first FFA project animal. Genisse became the first animal on the College Park FFA cattle team to give birth to an AI calf after successfully conceiving on the first attempt.

Laila plans to raise Apollo as a show steer, with proceeds helping support her future FFA goals and college education. A special shout out to Ag Teachers Kaili Philen and Chelsea Fry for their guidance throughout this rewarding journey! 💙🐂

We’re excited to share an update on the progress of the Grand Oaks 7–8 and 9th Grade Facility! 🛠️

The 9th Grade Campus is scheduled to open in January 2027, followed by the Junior High Campus in August 2027. We look forward to welcoming students to these new learning spaces and will share more updates as construction continues! 🎉🧡
