Due to the inclement weather forecast for the Houston area and the potential for hazardous road conditions, Conroe ISD will be closed on Tuesday, February 16. All extracurricular activities scheduled for Sunday, February 14, through Tuesday, February 16, have been canceled.

Did you know Sam Houston 4th graders participate in a Garden Club each week? Thanks to our partnership with Texas AgriLife, our students are learning about gardening and seeing their hard work pay off!

This week is School Counselor Appreciation Week. We are incredibly fortunate to have Mrs. Hughes as our school counselor. She makes Sam Houston a better place every day.

Due to potentially hazardous road conditions during morning arrival times and anticipated staffing shortages, Conroe ISD will be closed on Monday, January 11, 2021. Conroe ISD is seeking public input on the 2021-2022 school calendar. The CISD District-Level Planning and Decision-Making Committee (DLPDMC) is responsible for developing the 2021-2022 school calendar and has developed two drafts for the community to review. Feedback may be submitted from Thursday, November 19, 2020, through 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021 via the website below. The DLPDMC will then review all feedback and make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees at their Regular Board Meeting on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
