Congratulations to John Esparza on completing his first solo flight with 5x5 Flight Training!

This is a milestone John will never forget and an exciting step forward in his aviation journey. John earned financial assistance through the Ray Aviation Scholarship program, administered by the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and his local EAA Chapter 302, helping make this achievement possible.

A huge thank you to his mentors Joe Waltz and Denny Irvine, along with his CFI Owen, for their guidance, encouragement, and support throughout his training.

This is just one of many milestones ahead for John. Congratulations on your first solo, John — and here’s to everything still to come!
