Please be aware that hackers may send an email that looks to be official from a church member asking for gift cards, to follow a link, or other scheme. Be sure you reach out to the requestor in person before taking any action. This is a common theme among hackers and they use real emails. The church will NOT email you asking for money or gift cards. Contact Dena Sowden with any questions or if you've received an email like this.
Starting October 5th we'll have Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace class during WNL. This is a great course for young adults. Mark your calendars and join us for the WNL Kickoff event.

Today we received an unexpected huge blessing. Tom Young former missions chair and Bobby Ezell, current missions chair for First Presbyterian Church of Conroe stopped by to present a check from the church designated Mission Sunday. Collections were taken specifically for Family Promise. I was fortunate to be invited to speak that Sunday before the congregation sharing our updates, success stories and future plans. Thank you FPC congregation for the abundant blessing. We are changing lives through the generosity of others gifts of giving.
Is Facebook Live working today? I can't find it.
Good afternoon ~ Our FPC page received a message from someone who just moved to Conroe and is in need of help unloading boxes and bags from a U-Haul truck this evening. The husband is injured and the wife has RA. They have to have the truck turned in by tomorrow morning at 9 am. Is anyone available to help? It shouldn't take long.
Just wanted to praise (no puns intended) the choir and all the musicians at today’s 11 AM service. Spectacular. Thank you all.
The Annual Youth Auction is coming up soon and we'll be taking Memorial Brick orders again this year. Unfortunately, last year we were unable to get the bricks produced due to COVID affecting the manufacturer, but they're up and running again and we expect to have the shipment in this summer. Below is a link to the website where you can order them online or pick up an order form from the church office or Dena Sowden.
As always, thank you for your support!
A big shout out to First Presbyterian Church of Conroe, for their recent gift of chickens through the Giving Catalog! They are one of our first Coop Club congregations, and we are excited to see what they do next!

The Pumpkins will be delivered earlier than expected today. They should arrive by 4-4:30 pm. Mark will be here if anyone can help that early. We should be done no later than 6, but if you can only help for a short time, that works too. Text 979-255-2096 if you were planning on coming later to see if we still need help.
