District Art 2022

The following slides are the student art that will represent Irons Jr. High in the District Art Show at the Administration Building for the 2022-23 school year.

Congratulations to the Wind Ensemble for receiving all superior ratings at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation this morning! The students met up here at 6:45 am and had a great performance as the first band of the contest. Way to go HAWKS!

We would like to share with you the wonderful artwork by our Hawk Artist Junior VASE participants.

Of our 25 participants 24 received medals of highest score of 4, with 2 also receiving top 10% Platinum awards.

The Irons Symphonic Band went to UIL Contest yesterday and received Straight 1's from all 6 judges!!! They did a fantastic job, one of their best performances this year, and represented Irons very well!! Way to go Hawks!!

Congratulations to the Irons Ambassador Award recepients: counselor - Melissa Thetford, student - Reese Wesley, and student aide - Lori Corneau. Irons is lucky to have these people on our campus!
