One of the greatest blessings of being a teacher is seeing former students years later and learning that they are doing well. Students may leave our classrooms, but they always leave a lasting imprint on our hearts.

Mrs. Quiñones was thrilled to reconnect with a student she taught in 1st grade during the 2008–2009 school year. Some faces and memories stay with you forever, and seeing Angel again truly made her day!

Back In Time Popcorn are SO excited to officially kick off their Back in Time Popcorn & Candy Summer Reading Club on June 1st! ☀️

They wanted to create something fun that encourages kids to keep reading all summer long while earning a yummy reward along the way 💛

Here’s how it works:
📖 Read 10 books
✍️ Have a parent initial each one

Ms. Salazar and Ms. Aguilar had the special opportunity to recreate photos with some of our 4th graders from when they were in Kindergarten! 📸💙
It’s amazing to see how much they have grown through the years. These memories remind us just how special it is to watch our students learn, grow, and shine at Anderson! ⭐️

🌟What an amazing school year for our All-Stars it has been and we couldn't let the year end without celebrating these perfect attendance winners for the 4th Nine weeks. These students were present EVERY day and were ready to shine bright!
They won a special visit from some COOL Anderson teachers, 2 pizzas and 1 liter of Coca-Cola.
You did it All-stars!!!
