Congratulation to Eugene Shanks Jr. who has earned his IA at Lone Star. Eugene has been an A&P mechanic for 30 years and has worked on Ag airplanes, single engine and multi-engines Cessna and Piper aircraft. He works out of Eagle Lake TX.

Lone Star Flight and Testing congratulates Justin Qualls on attending our test prep course and passing his IA Test. Justin is employed at Westwind Helicopter’s. Justin studied at Louisiana Tech Lafayette campus and has held his A&P certificate for 20 years. He works on rotorcraft in the offshore oil and gas transport industry. His favorite helicopter is a Sikorsky S-92. Justin did a great job on completing our program and getting a great score on his IA test.

Lone Star Flight and Testing congratulates Darrell D. Magee on attending our test prep course and passing his IA Test. Darrell has been an A&P mechanic for 10 years and is currently working for Vertex Aerospace DEA program. He claims the KC-10 extender is the best aircraft to work on. Darrell served with US Air Force for 27 years all in aircraft maintenance. He also loves flying, motorcycles and football. He did a great job in completing his IA test and getting a great score.

Lone Star Flight and Testing congratulates William Sanabria on attending our test prep course and passing his IA Test. William is an A&P mechanic for Occidental Petroleum Corporation and a graduated from AIM school in Houston He is currently working on Gulfstream and Embraer 175’s jets. He hopes that one day he will be working on his own aircraft. We wish him well on his achievement.

Lone Star Testing Center would like to congratulate Rene Mosbach on passing his Authorization Inspector test. It took him 4 days to complete his review and pass his test with a great score. Rene started his aviation career with the U.S. Army working on helicopters, later he joined the U.S. Air Force Reserve working on B-52’s, C-5A’s. Rene is also attended and graduated from T.S.T.I. Waco TX with his A&P certificate. Rene retired from the military and Federal service and is working part-time on general aviation aircraft near Corpus Christie TX.

Lone Star Test Prep would love to extend a huge congratulation to Bryan Mangum passing his Inspector Authorization test.

Bryan worked on helicopters in the military for 10 years, attended maintenance school and has worked as an A&P mechanic for 10 year mainly working on general aviation airplanes.

He worked hard and got a great score on his test. Best of luck to you Bryan.

Lone Star Test Prep would love to extend a huge congratulations to Michael Morale for earning his IA certification!

Michael attended A&P school in Arlington TX and after that, he obtained employment with ATP in 2002. Having been an A&P for over 20 years Michael decided it was time to take the next step and earn his IA certification which he thought would be a great addition to the independent work he's been doing since 2014.

He has worked on all kinds of aircraft ranging from Pipers, Cessnas, to the Citabria. His favorite engines to work on are made by Lycoming and by Rotax.

We here at Lone Star Test Prep are celebrating Chad Robertson's successful completion of his IA written exam. Well Done!

Chad came to Lone Star from all the way up in Oregon. He has been an A&P mechanic for four years and got his experience from an A&P school before he went on to provide his knowledge and skills to various companies. This IA ticket has guaranteed and sealed his position of Director of Maintenance for Aurora Flight Training at Aurora Airport.

Fun Fact: Chad enjoys working on avionics the most!

Please welcome a New IA to the aviation field! Congratulations to Daniel Mendoza, you have put in a lot of work into becoming a certified Inspector.

Daniel is former military with experience in the US Marine Corps, the US Army Reserve, AND the US Airforce Reserve. Wow! This military experience, with a focus on aviation, gave him the skills to becoming an aircraft mechanic with a specialization in Airframe and Powerplant.

Daniel is the Owner/Operator of D-Tech Aircraft Interiors located in KBAZ, airfield, in New Braunfels, TX. D-Tech Aircraft Interiors has been proudly serving the aviation community for 15 years, priding itself in providing quality, exceptional service!
