The Lone Star College-Montgomery Symphonic Band presents "Renewal," a program of concert music selected to explore the idea of rebirth and growth. The concert begins with Turrin's "Jubilant Overture", followed by Reineke's "River of Life" paired with Bach's "Come Sweet Death." Then, "Night Dances" takes us on an exciting journey through darkness and light, followed by a poignant rendition of Stamp's "held still in wake of grace." The concert ends with a rousing transcription of Strauss "Thunder and Lightning." It is a program not to be missed!

Classes and rehearsals start at Lone Star College Montgomery this coming Tuesday, January 17! Seats for all instruments are available in the Symphonic Band (Tuesdays/Thursdays 1:00-2:20 pm) and we are also looking for a bass player, a guitar player, and 1-2 additional trumpets for Jazz Ensemble - by audition (Tuesdays 6:30-9:05 pm). The groups are open to both students and community members. Come play with us!
