Sponge Sailboats – Creative Crafting Fun! ⛵🌊
Turn a sponge into a sailboat and a bin of water into an ocean. This month’s Smarter Child Magazine shows kids how to build their own mini sailboat using a sponge, construction paper, and a wooden skewer.
Once it’s built, let the experimenting begin. Try different sail shapes and sizes, and see which design helps the boat move fastest across the water.

Today’s classroom looked a little different… because we took the learning outside! 🌿☀️

Our toddlers brought their favorite indoor activities into the fresh air, turning our outdoor space into an extension of the classroom. From building and creating to exploring and imagining, learning doesn’t have to stay inside four walls.
